A former economics professor and department chair, his research and teaching explored global markets, growth, and international business.
As founder of HotelSHIFT, he has led multiple hotel-to-apartment conversions nationwide, bringing together economic insight and hands-on development experience to create innovative housing solutions.

FounderWen is a quantitative analyst and real estate investor with a decade in hedge funds and capital markets.
He built trading platforms and risk models for mortgage-backed securities before co-founding HotelSHIFT Capital, where he now leads underwriting, analysis, and operations across hotel-to-apartment conversions.
With a Ph.D. in Statistics, he applies deep quantitative expertise to structuring and evaluating real estate opportunities that address borrower needs in a shifting financial landscape.
